("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Canada, governing your access to and use of the Rootly platform, website at rootly.ca, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are a resident of Canada, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We store and process your banking data solely to provide the Rootly financial health score and related features. We do not sell or share your banking data with financial institutions or third-party advertisers without your explicit consent.
Rootly provides financial information and educational tools only. Our financial health score and product recommendations are not financial advice. Always consult a licensed financial advisor before making financial decisions.
The financial health score generated by Rootly is based on behavioural data analysis and is not a credit score as defined by Equifax, TransUnion, or any other credit reporting agency. It should not be used as a substitute for a formal credit assessment.
You agree not to:
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the Rootly name and branding, and software — are owned by GoJumbo Digital Solutions Inc. and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
We will only send you commercial electronic messages with your express consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any financial data or scores provided through the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, GOJUMBO DIGITAL SOLUTIONS INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE'S OUTPUTS.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoJumbo Digital Solutions Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (including Plaid, financial institutions, and product partners). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting hello@rootly.ca. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or by posting a notice on rootly.ca at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
